Drinking plenty of water is essential, it can help you lose weight. This is because water can increase satiety and boost your metabolic rate. Some evidence suggests that increasing water intake can promote weight loss by slightly increasing your metabolism, which can increase the number of calories you burn daily. Shouldn’t overdo it as well there is a right amount you should drink according to your body weight. You generally eight glasses or 1 and 1/4 litres daily is recommended.



Distilled water and purified water are great options if your immediate water source is contaminated. That said, many countries purify tap water, so you’re drinking purified water every time you fill a cup from your kitchen sink

While useful for many things, rainwater is not as pure as you might think, so you can’t assume it’s safe to drink. Rain can wash different types of contaminants into the water you collect (for example, bird poop on your roof could end up in your water barrel or tank).
