Acupressure points to curb hunger

For most overweight people, the biggest challenge is their insatiable hunger. They can’t stop eating, thus can’t stop weight gain. However, if you can regulate hypothalamus, the part of your brain that controls your appetite, digestion as well as hunger hormones, half your battle is won. By pressing these major acupuncture points in your body, you can indeed suppress your monstrous appetite.

Ear point



Pressing this point near your ear helps in controlling appetite. Place your finger against the jaw and move your jaw up and down. Keep pressing this point for one minute.

Knee point

Pressing this knee point helps in improving the digestive system. This point is located on the outer side of the leg, two inches below the knee. The easiest way to spot this muscle point is by moving your foot up and down. Keep pressing this point for one to two minutes.

Elbow point

 

This point on your elbow is actually the large intestine point and is found on the inner side of the elbow. Pressing this point stimulates the intestinal function. Apply pressure with your thumb on this point.

 

Ankle point

 

This point improves our digestive and immune system. You can locate this point on the inner side of the leg, two inches above the ankle. Press this for at least a minute and release slowly.
